Lake Oak Meadows Temecula Wedding \\ Kristina + Jason

Talk about an emotional day! These two were overflowing with emotion from the first look all the way through the toasts. Kristina made a beautiful video for Jason to watch as they were getting ready that was a slideshow of all the great times they had together through the years and it had everyone in the room in tears!

The festivities were held at the beautiful Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula, a gorgeous winery venue! The ceremony itself took place on a peninsula surrounded by a small serene lake adding to the tranquil vibe. Such a beautiful rustic, yet chic, space!

The bride’s extended family flew all the way from Denmark and had quite a few fun and unique traditions that really made their day special. One of these super fun traditions was the guy guests all took turns putting red lipstick on and kissing the bride wishing her well! The other, which was a fun surprise, the bride and groom come together to dance at the end of the night and the wedding guests encircle them. They begin to clap and close the circle until they are able to pick the groom up off the ground and cut the tips of his socks off! Some sources say that this is so that the bride’s first chore as a married woman is to darn her husband’s socks (more like just get a new pair at Target!), but either way it was a blast to capture such fun traditions for this amazing couple!
