All of these elements came together for this moody session at the Algodones Sand Dunes. This magical location is just about 2 and a half hours inland of San Diego, but believe me, it was definitely worth the drive! The stunning dunes made the perfect backdrop to capture this dreamy session. The otherworldly beauty provided a minimalistic, yet stunning setting that really let these two shine. Pro tip from me: future brides, or couples just looking to come here for a beautiful photo backdrop, I will say the best time to visit the Algodones Sand Dunes is late fall, or during the winter due to the extreme temperatures. So if you’re looking to visit, just make sure you check the forecast before you head out.

Abbie and Trevor are such down-to-earth people and they made my day even better by bringing their puppy Sadie! Furry family members are a huge part of our lives and I love it when my couples bring their fur babies to participate in the session.

We finished off the session watching the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen, sipping the remaining champagne, and it was the perfect end to an amazing day!
