Chic Long Beach Yacht Wedding // Kat + Rod

Kat and Rod’s beautiful wedding celebration is proof that you don’t need to follow tradition to have an amazing day! After a small and intimate ceremony on the cliffs in Malibu with just close family, they hosted their celebration with all their nearest and dearest friends on a yacht that toured the Long Beach harbor. It was such a unique and fun way to celebrate in a stress free way!

I love when a couple chooses to focus on what is important to them (friends, family, their fur babies, you name it!) and lets a lot of the pomp and circumstance of traditional ceremonies take a back seat. I think this allows everyone to enjoy themselves so much more on the actual day, and alleviates some of the stress of the actual planning process.

Don’t get my wrong, I also love a traditional wedding day, but unique and intimate celebrations will always have a special place in my heart!
